Re: answering divorce citation

It is my opinion that everyone needs an attorney.

I've been divorced twice and I've hired legal counsel to represent me. Why? Because I was emotionally involved in my case. I needed an objective person to help me.

You can always go to any law library and look around.

There are many free services or reasonable attorneys around. Look online, in the t.v. guide, and in the Greensheet.

You don't need a board certified attorney. Perhaps you can find a newly licensed attorney that needs some experience.

There is help out there if you look!

You can probably locate divorce forms on this website. I caution you, however, in filing your own response. There are some defenses and affirmative defenses which are barred if not properly pled in the original answer. You should contact an attorney to review the petition, and counsel you on your options. If you cannot afford an attorney, try contacting North Texas Legal Services to see if you qualify for legal representation. TCL
