need answers

I have a question. My Exhusband and I have been divorced now for 8 years. He has possessory conservatorship. My son wants to switch to a charter school. My exhusband will not let him. I have sole manging conservatorship. What are my rights can I put him in the charter school anyway?

Your divorce decree should have a list of rights, duties and responsibilities -- at least one of them should refer to whether you have the EXCLUSIVE right to make decision regarding education.

If you do have the exclusive right, then it is solely your decision. If not, you might have to file a Petition to Modify or Clarify the Decree. You should pay an attorney to review the decree, and advise you of your options.
