Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Appealing child custody in Texas

I am in the process of appealing the court's decision for my ex-husband to have primary custody of our two sons. The social study report had come back in my favor but the judge still ruled in favor of my ex-husband. The divorce took almost two years before it was final due to a lot of stalling on my ex-husbands side of the camp. I am constantly battling him for me to see my boys. He would rather hire baby-sitters to watch them than let me have them. My oldest who is 7 has informed me that his dad is always saying bad things about me. I feel like he is trying to drive a wedge in between me and my boys. I'm worried since he has had primary for 2 years that it will be next to impossible for me to get the decision reversed. Any advice?
