Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I'm in the Army and want to become my niece's guardian, with her mother's consent. What forms would I need to fill out and file?

Call an attorney. Don't use the word "guardian" that is the wrong word in the state of Texas.

Use the word "conservator". Much better word!
