Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am being asked to appear in court for visitation. This was ordered by a court in Arkanasa. How ever i do not live in the county that the court is in. Also the mother lived in Arkanasa at the time. She now lives in texas. Should they be required to file in my County?

It sounds like no one lives in Arkansas. Therefore, the case should be transferred to where the child now lives. You will probably need to hire an Arkansas attorney and an attorney where the case needs to be transferred. I would talk to a family law attorney immediately - look on this website and on www.avvo.com for attorneys.
