Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I asked before but I dont think I stated my question very well. Let me try again. I had custody of my son for about 11 yrs and recently his mother took me to court for child support following her release from state jail where she had only been for 2yrs, before that she just never wanted custody. She now has me on child support and my question is, since I never asked her for child support back then when he was in my custody is there a counter claim I can file now that she is requsting I pay her? Or is it too late to request back pay for all of those yrs or I wouldnt even mind calling it even, if that meant I wouldnt have to pay her! are these options possible?

No, it is too late to go back now and ask for child support for past years. You should have asked for a child support order back when you had the son living with you.
