Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Attorney general & Guardian ad litem

I have a court order saying that I pay child suuport to the Guardian Ad Litem of Texas and I pay 10/month for it, and they in turn send it to my ex wife. Well now the Attorney General is saying I am behind 600 on child support and they are charging me interest. They are telling me I have to send the money to them, so am I suooised to pay the 10 fee to guardian ad litem and pay the A.G's interest too? What should I do?

You need to go talk to a good family law attorney in your area. Your email doesn't make sense. Good luck.

Ms. Bushman is right. Your question does not make sense. But, I think you are not reading the order correctly. I think the court appointed a Guardian Ad Litem to represent the interests of the children and you were ordered to pay that attorney at $10/month. I bet there is another page that may be missing from your copy that says you're supposed to pay child support of so many $$ per month. Good Luck.
