Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

How can I get the Attorney General's office to enforce a child support order. The OAG tells me to wait, maybe I'll get his income tax return (He's not getting one this year he is actually going to have to pay taxes because he cashed in his retiremnt plan). What is the point of the court order if he has missed 7 payments in the last 5 months, and the OAG is'nt interested in making him pay ? ? ? ?

The Attorney General doesn't represent you in court, so you can't force them to do anything.

You don't have to wait for them - you can hire your own lawyer. Plan to pay about $1500 up front.
