Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was using an attorney 11/2 years ago and filed for divorce; wife was served and court date was given but we had the attorney stop it. We want one now..can we file ourselves at the district court using the same paperwork/agreement as before except with new dates? This is in Denton County. Texas. Thanks in advance

You need to file these three things (at least) to get a divorce:

1. Original Petition for Divorce.

2. Waiver of Service.

3. Agreed Final Decree of Divorce.

You can reuse that paperwork if all the details, other than the dates, still apply.

Good luck!!
