Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I was awarded a car in my divorce, as was my ex-wife. She allowed her car to get repossessed and is currently in possession of my car. I am currently deployed to Iraq and I want my car back when I get home. She refuses to give me the car and is dodging mail and phone calls. This car is only one of the many things that she has screwed me over on. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

You should write to her (a nice letter - no accusations or profanity) and let her know when you are coming home (the date), and tell her that you want your car back. This is a PAPER letter, not an email or text. Keep a copy of the letter. Mail a copy to the local police department.
Every week or so, write her another letter - basically the same letter, but with a different date on it. Keep a copy. Send a copy to the police department.
When you get home, she'll either give you the car or she won't.
If she doesn't, contact the police and see if they'll help. You should plan to bring them a certified copy of the divorce decree that awards the car to you (hopefully it contains the VIN).
If the police wont' help, you can sue her for specific enforcement of the decree. Your petition can ask the Judge to put her in jail (see Chapter 9 of the Family code).
