Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

back in 2009 i had an affair with a married woman that worked at the same place i did. our affair ended when she announced she was pregnant. she denied this was my child and said it was her husbands. 9 mths ago i was served with a child support review for said child. I attended review and requested a dna test. i was told father on birth certificate had to request it. I didn't her from her and anyone else after meeting. last week i was served with court papers where im being sued in court. My question is what should i expect at court hearing? I dont have an attorney.

You need to file an answer (unless you were sued in a distant county).

You really should hire a lawyer.

You should definitely demand a DNA test.

You should NOT make any deals with the Attorney General. At least not yet.

The court hearing will not start on time. Bring a book to read; you'll spend a lot of time sitting and waiting.
