Can i get back child support

I have been divorced for 14 years.Custody granted to ex wife, I paid child support for 2 years, then child moved in with me, I have raised child last 12 years with little support from ex wife. our arrangement was never legally changed. If i go to court now to have this changed can i also get back support from her. He is sixteen now and don't know if it is worth it.

It sounds like the child is approx. 14 years old.

You can only get child support from the date you file to modify the current legal document.

If the child has over 2 years left in high school, it might be worth it.
