Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have back child support say i owe 72,000 but i was paying from the usmc they sent her 300.oo a month but it did not go through the child support office then i was paying through my job they say they will always charge intrest i dont beleive owe that much because i was paying know my daughter is 22

You need to file what's called a Motion to Reduce Child Support Arrearage to Judgment. It allows you to put your evidence in front of a real Judge (he's making the decision, not the AG) and get a ruling about what the number should be. Expect to pay a lawyer about $1500.00 up front. The AG will probably show up in court and challenge you.
