Does he have to go?

Here a little background info... My son is 16 and I won custody of him due to his mather being a drug addict and putting him in danger. Her family hasny had ANYTHING to do with him for 4 years. All of a sudden in April they decided they wanted to exercise their visitation. The great grand mother has hired an attorney and is pushing this visitation for her benefit not the mothers. He doesnt see the mother at all when he goes for visitation and he stays with the great grand mother. He is suppose to start his month long visitation with them starting July 1st but he doesnt want to go. He has called them and told them that he has no desire to be there for a month and doesnt feel comfortable going but theyre pushing it with their lawyer. Like I said he doesnt stay with the mother die to abuse and a restraining order on the mothers boyfriend and the great grand mother has no court orderen visitation and NO rights to him granted by the courts, shes just trying to act like she has a say in all of this but doesnt. He started a new school this year and is attending football camps and practices with his new school,team, and coaches.

Does he HAVE to go? What can happen if I tell the GGP that he doesnt want to go and Im not making him?
