Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Band Problem

My friends and I have a band but we recently have a falling out and now our supposed band leader is KEEPING all the equipment we all worked FOUR years earning and working for. Its all in a Hitch Trailor at his house with new locks and simply wont return our calls and wont give each our own equipment back. I Have most of the reciepts and debit card used to purchase the equipment under my name but he is avoiding contact with us. We all had a verbal agree ment that after finishing out the gig schedule ahead we would all split the equipment based on what each person normally used. Our leader not only lied to us on this but closed out the bands bank account, phone services and avoids contact with us. How can we get our equipment back without getting in trouble or breaking laws?

Re: Band Problem

The police won't help. They call it a civil problem. If its importsnt to you hire a lawyer. Otherwise, assume the position.
