Bank Account Information

My husband was in a relationship before we married and has another child. They granish his wages and get the tax returns. A few weeks ago I added him to and my son's bank account so he could have direct deposit from his job. They have taken all my money and froze my account. Can I reteive my money back and if so how?

What kind of account was it?

If it was a savings account, that would explain why they got the money out of this account.

Also, did he have a signed agreement to pay the past-due (retroactive) child support?

If so, was he current on the monthly payments on the retro-active child support?

If not, that is probably why they took all the money.
