Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Battling 2 Child Support cases at one time
Currently I'm a father of 2 girls, 9 and 4 years old. I'm going thru a divorce due to an affair I had w/ a married woman. On 12/04 the married woman became pregant and had a child. She claims its mine since the husband took a test and came out negative. Out of fear I have yet to take the test. I'm currently paying over 30% of my net pay to my future ex-wife. I don't mind paying child support on my first two kids, however, this other woman in which I have no feelings towards is making my life a living hell. She sued the company I work for 40K (sexual harrassment, settlement) and now is going after me even though she is still married and had the affair as well. In Dec 2003 I had a vasectomy which was unsecessful, still fertial. What would be my best options here? I just want to be left alone and not broke. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Battling 2 Child Support cases at one time
I would advise that you do the DNA testing.
If it is your kid, you are going to have to pay child support to her and insure the kid on your health insurance.
The first 2 kids would get the 25% child support reduced if you are also supporting kid #3.
Kid #3 would get less than 20% if you are supporting 2 other kids.
Perhaps you gave grounds to sue your doctor due to you still being fertile. I don't practice in that area of the law.
Unfortunately, with 3 kids by 2 women, I guess you are going to be broke for a long time.
