Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Beginning of 2009 year ago, I filed a petition for divorce with the court, after being seperated since 2007, the ex' and I met up to sign, waiver of service and the decree of divorce with a notorary as witness, there were 3 original signature documents, 1 we each kept, and 1 that was sent to Court.

I'm getting ready to get married again, and I fount out the set never made it to the Court House to be filed and was Dismissed.

What do I need to do to reinstate already signed Decree of Divorce original signature copy that I have still?

As well as what am I looking at as cost?

If the dismissal was more than 30 days ago, there's nothing to reinstate. You have to re-file the divorce, do the waiver again, wait the 60 days, etc.

In the meantime, see if your "ex" won the lottery since you filed for divorce. You are still married to him. All the property he's acquired is community property (retirement, 401k, etc.)
