Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

bias against me ???

doing my divorce pro-se...but i recently found out my ex husband's lawyer is very close friend with the judge. who is about to do the hearing.

they are on the same alumni committe. at the law school both they attended. judge is an officer of that committe.( i have proof)

law school is very small...graduates 20 per year tops maybe.

should the judge voluntary step away from the hearing ??

if not .., wouldn't that be bias against me ???

could i appeal with a lawyer if ruling goes against me. ???

File a motion to recuse the judge.
