bilogical mother wants her daugter back after 4 years
my aunt has raised my neice since she was 6 months old,(now 4) now that my sister feels that the world hates her she wants her daughter back to spite my aunt. She is (she says was) a drug addict, alcoholic, was homeless for about 3 months and now lives in a run down duplex with her boyfriend and 5 other kids rangig from 1 to 10. She has no job, lives on food stamps, but then sells those to get money to buy things. Shes had cps called on her a few times but they say if she gets reported again all the kids will be given to the state. We have other family members that are willing to take each and everyone of the kids, but she refuses, or she'll allow it for a while so she can disappear and have ''fun'', but when she comes back from god knows where,she wants to be their mom again. how can we get these kids away from her and give them all a life they deserve. (only one father is active and all the others are unkown.)

A person has standing to bring a lawsuit if they have had the child over 6 months.

If one relative has had the child over 6 months, then they need to file a Suit Affecting Parent Child Relationship and ask for custody.

It is not a simple matter, especially with missing fathers, but I can be done.
