Bio/Adopt Parent want custody
Neither me or my husband knew about the child until he was 18 months old. My husband is the biological father of my 6 year old son, I am the ''adopted'' mother on the birth certificate. The biological mom relinquished parental right when the child was 18 months old, as soon as we found out. And has not seen him since.

We went to court & both had to ''adopt'' him, we have been married for 5 years and we together have a 3 year old.

We are talking about divorce, but I don't want to loss my 6 year old son. do I have a chance of getting custody? Will they split the boys between parents?

Your email is unclear.

As I understand it, you adopted the 6 year old and you have a 3 year old child.

Therefore, you are the mother of 2 children.

Courts do not like to split up siblings.
