name not on birth certificate
only my father's name is on my birth certificate. My name and my mother's name are not.....mother passed away years ago....how can I fix my birth certificate? Thank you

Contact the Bureau of Vital Statistics in Austin (if you were born in Texas). There is a procedure. It involves getting a copy of their marriage certificate and her death certificate. They will need other documentation as well to support the facts, such as notarized affidavits of witnesses, baptismal records, school records etc. Good luck.
