me and my boyfriend have a child together, and have lived together for 3 years. and also filed taxes as joint. is this considered commonn law marriage in texas?

If you have not filed a declaration of informal marriage, then the requirements in Texas to establish an informal marriage are: 1. live together as husband and wife in Texas and 3.

2. represent to others that they are married.

agree with one another that they are married.
