Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my boyfriend is italian has no children and wants to divorce from his italian wife. they still leave in the same house without any physical contact since one year . is it necessary for them to wait the separation period of 3 years before he can get married again ?help please

If he lives in Texas, we do not require a "separation" period.

In Texas, after a divorce is finalized, a person must wait 30 days to remarry a new person.
