Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

just need to know and what to do.

my boyfriend is 17 and he lives with thess people that took guardianship of him and we are wanting him to move in with my mother and i and start at a new school. and he wants a job...but it would be the best thing for him.

I like that you say "it would be best for him", because that is precisely what the judge would try to determine. Wherever your boyfriend is going to live *legally*, a judge must make that determination - just like those people took guardianship of him. So, if your mother wants to be his guardian, she needs to file the papers in court to do that. Your boyfriend is still a child - legally. You don't send children to new homes like puppies, a judge decides. Good Luck.
