My boyfriend and i have been living together for 6yrs and have a 3yr old. we are currently separated and i would like to know what i am intitled to s far as our furniture, tv's and etc...

If this is an informal marriage (common-law marriage), then all of the property and debts acquired during the marriage (except by gift or inheritance) are community property. The party awarded primary conservator of the child would be entitled to child support. You might be entitled to temporary spousal support while the case is pending.

If you were merely living together, and not married, then you are entitled to the property which belongs to you, and if you are named the primary conservator, child support.
