Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My boyfriend is schedule to pick up his kids on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th weekend of each month. Written in the devorce is that in the month of April is needs to give a written letter if he is wanting his kids for a mth. His ex wife is to have a letter sent to him if she is keeping the kids every weekend during the summer. If they didn't write the letters can she keep the kids on his weekend? If not, how would we go about getting the kids on his weekend? Does it have to be only him to pick up his kids before 6pm?

Your boyfriend needs to go back to his original attorney and have him or her explain the summer possession and access to him. If he didn't have an attorney, he should find one who will review the order and explain it to him.
