My boyfriend is trying to get his son to the United States from Jamaica, but his name is not on the birth certificate. Also, there has been no paternity test. How would he go about getting custody of his son?

There are various options, but the first step will probably be that he needs to establish his paternity of the child to the Jamaican authorities, before attempting to convince consular or immigration authorities.
