My boyfriend and I are talking about getting married.we are wanting to know if there is anyway he can adopt my daughter .he is a registered sex offender which is rehabilitated and is currently having to go back to prison due to a violation of his parole.her bio father has reliqused his rights back in 2004.

For an adoption to be granted, the Court has to make a finding that the adoption is in the child's best interest. The boyfriend's criminal record is going to be a problem.

The Court probably won't grant the adoption while he's in prison.
