Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My boyfriend and i wanted to get married we are both recidents but he dose not have his birth certificate he is from Guatemala.. what can we do to get married?

Call the local office that handles marriage licenses and ask them if you even need a birth certificate. When I got married in 2013 I did not show mine. I think I showed them my driver's license.
