Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My brother and I have a lot of prolems and have had for a long log time. My Mom just died which leaves him as my next of kin. I do not want him having any control over me or my treatment or arrangements after death. I don't want him to even be notified. Is there a way to protect myself from him having any say in anything concerning me?
