Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My brother's daughter wants to assign custody of her two small daughters to him. Can they create a form and have it notarized giving him custody? He really CANNOT afford a lawyer.

There is a procedure for this in Chapter 34, Texas Family Code. I'm not aware of a form that exists that would be available for a non-lawyer to use. You might check your county law library and look through the Texas Family Law Practice Manual for Authorization for Non-Parent Relative.
