Anything that you acquire during your marriage, even if you acquire it during the period of separation or while a divorce is pending, is presumed to be community property. Unless there is some factor present which makes this house separate property instead of community, you are going to have to split it with your wife or, to put it another way, it goes onto the pile of property that gets divided.
