Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

car legal advice

My name is Jason and I am deployed in Iraq for my second tour.One of my good friends had filed for a divorce in the state of Tx. Her and her ex husband own two cars both of them are in his name but one of the cars she paid for and she had documention that she bough it. My question is, is she entailed to one of the vechiles even though the divorce is not finail. she needs a vechile to go to Dr. appoiments.

Since Texas is a community property state property acquired by either spouse during the marriage is presumed to be community. Each spouse is presumed to have an interest in it. Who gets what will be determined by the property settlment they negotiate.
