Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
If my ex does not care if he sees our kids and i dont care if he pays me child support, will the courts pass just a divorce decree with nothing else attached?

Child support probably does matter, depending on where you live. Courts will often not let someone get divorced without someone paying child support. One reason is that frequently, the custodial parent has to apply for public benefits when there would be no need if child support were paid. Another reason is that you might not need the support now, but could later lose your job or get injured and need to badly.
Regardless, you will need children provisions in your decree. Part of "proving up" your decree will be to tell the judge what provisions have been made for any children.
If you intend to "do it yourself" please be aware that people frequently do that and end up not getting what they think that they got in the divorce. If there are measurable assets, you could be putting yourself at risk.
