Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I have a case with CPS. Is it smarter to allow them to place my child with my mother and sue her for the child after this is over, or should continue to fight? My rights were unlawfully terminated with fabricated information. They are giving me a hard time. Any suggestions?

If your rights have really been terminated, if the trial has been over for more than 30 days, there is probably nothing you can do. However, if your parental rights are still in tact, but CPS has taken the child away, I would keep fighting. You need to consult with a good family law attorney ASAP. If you don't think you can afford one, please contact the Texas Legal Services Center (www.tlsc.org).
Good luck!!
