Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Change of address without notice

My soon to be ex-husband was evicted about two months ago and he has not provided me with his new address. Since he is in contempt can I prevent him from seeing the children who are only 23 months old until I can get the address? I just don't undersatnd why he has to know everything about me and I no nothing about where he is taking my children for overnight visits.
