Name Change

Child was born to unwed mother,she didnt want to name child after the father.Can that father make her change the babies name to his,even if she still doesnt want the child to have his last name? Thanks

If the father files for voluntary paternity in Texas, he can ask the court to order the child's last name be changed to his last name.
