Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

change counties

If I filed a divorce & custody case in one county, but my lawyer isn't doing enough to help me, can I change counties & hire a new lawyer if I am moving to another county? The case is not final yet.

No. Write the lawyer a letter telling what you think you are supposed to have. Talk with him (her)about your complaints. If that doesn't work, fire the lawyer and find one that will help you.
