Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

last name change

my son is amost two his father and i were never married. he has had my last name since birth and his father and i both signed the birth certificate with my last name. we went to court and the judge changed it to his fathers last name and now my last name is just a middle name. is there anything i can do to change it back to my last name. if not then do i legally have to obey the judge ruling and use his new last name or since he is still has my last name in his name can i use it as it was be for the judge changed it? please let me know lots of love FLEA

You have been ORDERED by a Judge to change his name. If you don't, you can be held in contempt of court.
