changing locks
my husband is a crack addict I have had enough I dont want him back in the house I am filing for divorce and a restraining order but i have to save up the money. can I change the locks on the house and not let him in and not get arrested I dont care if I have to face his attorney I just dont want him in the house

Generally speaking, he has as much right to be in the house as you do, unless a court order says differently. Meaning, without a court order, you are wasting your money changing the locks. He might break a window to get in, and just cause more expense.
If he has been abusive, the ADA might be able to get you a protective order.
Talk to Legal Aid in your area, to see if you qualify for assistance.
