Changing my son's name

I am recently remarried and my

husband and I would like to change

my son's name to be the same as

ours. My ex-husband has been

incarcerated in the state of Texas for

20 months and has not paid any

child support since the divorce. How

do we go about changing our son's

name?

You will need to file a petition, and notice your exhusband. He has a right to object to the name change, if he so chooses.
