Child Abandemt

I would like to know how long a father has to have no contact with children to fill abandment? my 2nd husband would like to adopt since he has been taking care of them for 2yrs and the bilogical father dont pay cchild support

and he dont have nothing to do with them. my youngest child dont even know her bilogical father.

The answer is -- it depends.

If he voluntarily agrees to terminate, it's easy. If involuntary, it is much more difficult.
