The age is 12 years old, but that does not necessarily mean the Judge will order a change in possession. Additionally, one of the parents will have to file a Motion to Modify A Previous Order and attach the executed document signed by the child. It would be my recommendation that you talk with an attorney who practices family law before going any further, this not one of those kind of cases that you can represent yourself, you will need to hire an attorney.
