Re: Child coustody

A child can always express what he would like to do.

However, it is NOT binding on the Judge.

I guess you are asking at what age can a child sign a statement on what parent he wants to live with -- in Texas it's 12. However, it is NOT binding on the Judge.

If you don't have an attorney, you need one.

If you have one, why are you on the internet shopping questions? Go see your attorney. No attorney on the internet understands your situation like your own attorney does.

I suspect that you don't like what your attorney said and you are shopping for an answer you like.

If you are doing this, STOP! You are not giving ALL the facts that need to be considered in where the child lives.
