can a mother take her husband back to court and seek custody if he doesn,t pick the kids up at school.the kids are in his possesion at this time and his day to have them. is this abandonment,?child abuse? he uses his job as an excuse not to pick them up.The daughter has had to call her mother to pick up.

Possibly. It's hard to figure out what you are saying, but not making arrangements for the children after school might be grounds for a change in the custody order.
