Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Custody Case

I was wondering if I could try for custody of my children based on the fact that thier mother is a walfare mom and does not hold a job? What is the likelyhood of things going in the father's favor? What type of things help the case?

Ms. Brochstein has experience in Harris County, that I do not have. I just want to add that before you get into a war, consider what her evidence will be. Make sure that you have been a good dad, paid support, and developed a good relationship with your children.

Re: Child Custody Case

In Harris County, only one court strongly favors mothers.

I find that most men get custody when mommy has made a mess of things -- such as head lice for 2 years, kids late to school often, unexcused school absenses, bad grades, DUI, drugs, moving a lot, irresponsible behavior, etc.

Merry Christmas!
