Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Custody...

I am a custodial parent (the father of a barely 12 yr old girl) the mother has been letting older boys come over to spend time with my daughter, Kissing has happened. The mother is telling my daughter that she will continue to let this happen and also take her to the boys' house if she will agree to live with her. Also the mother has 2 brother that have either been accused of or convicted of molesting children which she allows to be around my daughter. She leaves my daughter alone to supervise 3 other little girls ranging from 1 to 10. Fires have been started by these girls with candles and the fire dept was called. Would any of these be reason to get custody changed back to supervised visits

Re: Child Custody...

You describe factors which could endanger the welfare of your child. If there is sufficient proof of your allegations, and the incidents have occurred after the entry of the last order, a judge may consider supervised access.

Re: Child Custody...

I suggest you make a chronological list of events that have taken place since the date of the last order. Then contact a lawyer who specializes in family law to discuss the situation.

There are no absolute answers to your question - every case depends upon the particular facts. However, it certainly sounds as if the situation needs to be changed.
