child custody

if the custodial parent moves out of state what are the guidelines between battle for joint custody and violating a court order? is that a violation? under what circumstances can the custodial parent be penalized for it?

Not really sure what you are asking about in the first sentence. Unless there is a geographic restriction in the Order, it is not a violation of a Court order to move out of state. If there is a geographic restriction, you need a good family law attorney to pursue this.
