My daughter had a baby that is now going on two, I got her boyfriend a job when she was pregnate so that they could take care of the baby, they have split up but he kept the baby, he works offshore two weeks on and two weeks off, the baby stays at his sisters while he is gone, he wont allow my daughter to see the baby and has filed a restraining odder against her showing the baby's address that of his sister, they were never even married, she really can not afford a lawyer and the police or child wellfare will do anything, WHY? and what can she do? he makes supervised visitation rules by himself pertaining to me and the baby's grandmother, what can she do?

Re: Child custody
The police and child welfare will not do anything because it's not their job. If you want to correct this situation, you will have to hire a lawyer. This situation does not get better it only gets worse. If you are not going to hire a lawyer the situation will not change to your favor. Good Luck.
